Jerusalem: Tower of David: Located near to the Jaffa Gate, the Citadel and the site of King Herod's Palace (c 24 BC). Today the Tower forms part of the Walls of the Old City built by the Ottomans. The Citadel today houses the Museum of the History of Jerusalem.
